Are You Surprised?

Even as a staunch suppoter of MDC I am not really surprised of the MDC is infighting? Because I'm not, I expected it. Anyone that dismisses that the notorious CIO has infiltrated MDC is deluded. To be frank our party has been infiltrated a long time ago. The inflitrations has been at the highest level. Look Secretary General is a spy so is the Vice President Gibson Sibanda, the spokesperson Paul Themba Nyathi is also a spy. People will raise their eyebrows as to why I am so sure, but you will soon see the reasoning. Like many Zimbabweans I joined MDC in 1999, shortly after its formation, I lost a brother in the struggle, for legal reasons I cannot divulge further details. Basically whats my point, after sacrificing so much for the cause of MDC where lives have been lost and destroyed, supporting MDC is not easy in Zimbabwe, your life is in constant danger, either its the over-zealous green bombers, or the war vets or the dreaded CIO that can come for you, you cannot just throw away 5 years of hard work for trivial differences as in the partcipation of Senate Elections. Thats why I can say with conviction that our real MDC which has the aspirations of the people at heart has been inflitrated by agents of the enemy to cause division amongst ourselves and weaken the resolve to fight the real enemy Mugabe. Its slap in the face for people that lost relatives in the struggle to ask to follow you Welshman when in fact you are nothing but an opportunist.

The decision by the MDC president not to participate in the Senatorial elections should have been applauded. But the insistence by the 26 dissidents led by Welshman Ncube of the executive council of MDC to go ahead and register for participation should be taken as a wake-up call for the Zimbabwean electorate. To be on the lookout for wolves dressed as sheep like Gibson Sibanda who are here to hoodwink us into believing they have our interests at heart when in fact its their pockets they want to align. This incident has exposed them as nothing but money-grabbing opportunist. What exactly would be the grassroots members of MDC like you and me gain by having elected Senators, we have MPs but nothing has improved for them. Instead detrimental pieces of legislature have been passed in the MDC's watch. I will tell you straight up why the dissidents are hell bent on participation they just want to get paid that’s it. They just see the dollar sign and how they can improve they own personal situations. If it’s not that I'm posing a question to them WHY?

Please leave our party alone we do not want MDC to suffer the same fate of ZUM, ZUD, and Zanu Ndonga before we reach the proverbial Promised Land.
